EV Charger Instant Quote Calculator

Answer a few quick questions about your property and charger preferences to get an instant estimated price.

Step 1 of 7

1. Your Contact Details

We’ll only use these details to prepare and send you your personalised quote.

2. Charger Hardware

Model upgrade prices shown are estimates and will be confirmed with your quote.

ⓘ More info

This is how fast your charger works. 7kW is the standard speed for a home charger and suits almost every UK house. 11kW and 22kW charge faster but need a three-phase electricity supply, which most homes do not have — we will check what is possible for your property.

ⓘ More info

Tethered means the charging cable is permanently attached to the charger, so you just plug straight into your car. Untethered means the charger has a socket and you plug in your own cable each time, like a public charging point.

ⓘ More info

How far the charging cable reaches from the charger to your car. Pick a length that comfortably reaches where you park, without being stretched tight.

ⓘ More info

Basic app control lets you start, stop and schedule charging from your phone. Solar PV Integration is for homes with solar panels — it automatically uses your own solar power to charge the car when it is available.

3. Property Details

ⓘ More info

Roughly how far your charger will be from your fuse box (consumer unit), following the route the cable will need to run — not just a straight line. Longer cable runs need more materials and labour, which is why they cost a bit more.

ⓘ More info

What the wall is made of where the charger will be mounted. Brick or smooth render is the easiest and cheapest surface to fix a charger to. Pebble dash, render, timber or cladding need extra preparation work, which is why they add a small cost.

ⓘ More info

Whether you have your own driveway or off-street parking, or you are in a flat or rely on on-street parking. Flats and on-street parking often need extra checks (such as landlord or council permission, or a longer cable run), which is why we may need to arrange a site visit first.

4. Electrical Requirements

ⓘ More info

Your consumer unit (fuse box) needs enough spare capacity and the right type of breaker to safely run a dedicated circuit for your EV charger. Most modern units just need an extra breaker added; older or fully-used units may need a bigger upgrade. Not sure which applies to you? A quick photo of your existing unit lets us tell you for certain.

ⓘ More info

An earthing rod is a safety rod driven into the ground outside your property. Depending on how your home’s electricity supply is earthed, one may be needed to make EV charging safe — we will confirm whether yours needs one.

ⓘ More info

If the cable route from your fuse box to the charger needs to run underground or outside somewhere it could be damaged, it has to be a tougher armoured cable laid in a trench. Most driveway or wall-mounted installs do not need this — it mainly applies to longer or more exposed cable runs.

5. Add-Ons & Timing

ⓘ More info

A pedestal (or bollard) is a freestanding post the charger is mounted on, used when there is no suitable wall nearby — for example, if the charger needs to sit partway down a driveway.

ⓘ More info

Standard lead time is our normal installation scheduling. Express means we prioritise your job to get it installed within 7 days, for an extra fee — useful if you need your charger in a hurry.

6. Grant & VAT

Not sure if you qualify? Check your eligibility on GOV.UK

Most home installations are standard-rated at 20%. Only pick 0% or 5% if it genuinely applies — we’ll confirm on review.
