Yes. Since 1 February 2022 it has been mandatory for every home in Scotland, owned or rented, to have an interlinked LD2 smoke and heat alarm system fitted.
They must be interlinked, and either mains-powered or fitted with a tamper-proof, sealed 10-year battery. We can advise which option suits your property.
This depends on your property’s layout and existing setup — we’ll assess this during a survey and confirm exactly what’s needed to bring you up to standard.
