Payment Terms
For all projects exceeding £750, a 50% deposit is required prior to the commencement of work. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the project, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payments are to be made within 7 days of invoice issuance unless alternative terms are agreed upon in writing.
Ownership of Materials
All materials supplied by Axis Electric Group Ltd remain the property of Axis Electric Group Ltd until final payment is received in full. Axis Electric Group Ltd reserves the right to reclaim materials in the event of non-payment.

Access and Site Conditions
The client is responsible for providing safe and adequate access to the work site, including necessary permissions and utilities. Any delays or additional costs due to inadequate site conditions will be the responsibility of the client.

Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be confirmed in writing. Additional costs incurred due to changes will be quoted separately.
Liability
Axis Electric Group Ltd is not liable for any loss or damage arising from delays, unforeseen circumstances, or events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather, strikes, or supply chain disruptions.
Compliance
All work will be carried out in accordance with current UK electrical regulations and standards, including BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations).
Cancellation
In the event of cancellation by the client, any costs incurred by Axis Electric Group Ltd for materials, labour, or preparatory work up to the point of cancellation may be charged to the client.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from this agreement will be addressed through negotiation in good faith. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to mediation or arbitration as agreed by both parties.
Your Right to Cancel (Domestic Customers)
If you are a domestic customer and we agree the contract away from our business premises (for example, at your home) or entirely at a distance (by phone, email, or online), you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of agreeing to the quote, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you ask us to start work within that 14-day period, you may be liable for the cost of work already carried out and materials already ordered up to the point of cancellation. This right does not apply where the quote is agreed at our own premises, or for business/commercial customers.
Insurance
Axis Electric Group Ltd holds public liability insurance. Details are available on request.
Certification and Compliance Documentation
On completion, we will provide the relevant certification for the work carried out (for example, an Electrical Installation Certificate, Minor Works Certificate, or EICR), issued in line with our NAPIT registration and BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations). Where work is notifiable under Scottish Building Standards, we will advise you of any building warrant or completion certificate requirements.
Complaints
If you’re unhappy with any aspect of our work, please contact us at info@axiselectric.co.uk or 01698 629 941 so we can put it right. As a NAPIT-registered business, unresolved complaints can also be referred to NAPIT’s own complaints procedure.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the law of Scotland, and any disputes not resolved by negotiation or mediation will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
General
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining terms will continue to apply. These terms, together with the quote provided, form the entire agreement between Axis Electric Group Ltd and the client for the work described.
By accepting a quote from Axis Electric Group Ltd, the client agrees to these terms and conditions.
